Unboxing Blakemakes Peanut Butter Dulce De Leche

I was one of the lucky few to receive a jar of BlakeMakes.com’s first batch of Peanut Butter Dulce De Leche. Blake is a friend I met a couple of years ago while visiting New Orleans for EarthLink/Earthling. He has recently started up a food blog and is now experimenting with producing food products under the Blake Makes label. Even though I was a little slow on the draw with his offer a few days ago, he graciously snuck me in to the “beta” list.

The jar arrived last night and this morning I opened it up, but not without shooting each step in breathless gadget blog “unboxing” fashion:

First Taste
The first taste was delicious. I’ll update this entry once I’ve sampled some more.

Thanks Blake! Glad to be a deliciousness tester any time you need me.

  3. Dave-

I’m stoked that you liked it. I’m also thrilled that you blogged about it. Too bad the jars aren’t bigger, huh? Well, never fear, there’s a new batch in production, and I’m experimenting with some new flavors…marshmallow cream dulce and coconut cream dulce. Stay tuned! bk

  4. That first taste left a suspiciously finger-shaped impression. Depraved!

  5. ZOMG!

I LOVE dulce de leche! I studied in Argentina where it goes in and on every sweet item known to man.

I’m going to go dream of it now. K, bai.

  6. Well, can we order this sweet peanut butter online yet? Or do ya have to be on the ‘ins’ with Blake?
