Soda? Cola? Pop? What do you say? Any other regional words that set you apart?
Question submitted by Gladys.
Soda, like what Costanza wanted to call his kid. While we're on the subject, I have found that people don't know birch beer here in the south. Or sarsaparilla.

Soda, now. When I was growing up in Nashville I often heard "cold drink" (pronounced "code drink"). In more southern and more rural areas "Coke" was a generic word referring to sweet carbonated beverages in general.
It depends on the situation. When I'm being the big sister I say Coco, when I'm being the young lady I say Cola.
Note: Thank you for the add. I added you back.
quit being a yankee and just say "coke" dammit.
